Let’s put a bow on it

A 2023 wrap up!

Ah, the end of the year... the one deadline no amount of procrastination can postpone.

Since it’s coming — ready or not! — let’s pause for a moment and reflect on what we’ve accomplished (and what we can learn from what we didn’t).

Good job hanging in there this year!

Love it! I adore Kanban boards, they are the ideal planning tool!

Thanks for the continued innovation!

“All, a board!”
Boards everywhere

With filters and labels now viewable as boards, you can unlock the layout that works best for you.

View by project, priority, label, date, and more — choose the grouping that “just clicks” for your unique brain.

Never knew I needed this, until now

“Sort of a big deal”
Manual sort in Today & Upcoming

Sometimes default sorting just doesn’t show you what you want. Well, now you can just drag and drop to override it, and order your day as you see fit... or even time block right in Today with durations!

Please consider adding the option to manually sort tasks when you have the list sorted by Project in the Today view. Right now, you can only choose ascending or descending (& I don’t even know what those mean.) I’d like to be able to drag and drop to reorder.

“Today at a Glance”
Avoid overload

Ever get a little too optimistic when planning your day? It happens!

Now our new task + time total in Today will help remind you Earth days are only 24 hours long,* so you can keep your plans realistic (and avoid unnecessary stress).

*Fun fact: a day on Venus is 5832 hours long... almost enough to handle that Monday after vacation!

“Many seem trivial at first — but if they were that easy to solve, someone would already have taken care of it. … for Dr Who fans: It’s the tardis effect — looks small on the outside, but is huge inside. 😄”

Welcome to Enlightenment

Germans are very safety-oriented!

With thousands of tasks completed, these tried-and-true Todoisters have reached our highest level of achievement. But they know it’s about the journey, not the destination.

@Missne

@silvestrecgp

12484 tasks, 7 years, 3 weeks, 6 days after I started my Todoist journey on 19 Oct 2016, I’ve joined just 0.05% of all Todoist users to ever reach Todoist Karma Enlightenment.

Next level to reach @todoist?😃

Ps: thanks for the Gold Theme”😊

A couple of years of getting my life on track, and I've finally achieved the top karma level of Enlightened in @todoist 😁🤘

I never expected my love for a physical calendar could be transferred, but I can definitely say I'm sticking with this for a while yet 😍

Thank you Amir and the whole Todoist Team. It’s a pleasure using your tool daily and it helped me become really successful in reaching my target.

Almost 6 years in the making, I told my wife to put this on my tombstone. Still by far the best task manager out there and improving with every update.

Thanks for the sense of achievement and keep up the good work!
